COMMUNITY & CONNECTIONS

The people behind the journey

From volunteering and coaching to cultural events, friendships, and professional gatherings, the people I have met along the way have played an important role in shaping my experience in Norway.

COFFEE, CONVERSATIONS & CONNECTIONS

Behind every coffee was a story.

Working as a barista was never just about serving coffee; it was about people. Behind every cup was a conversation, a familiar face, or a small moment that could brighten someone's day. I loved learning the craft, creating drinks with care, and connecting with customers from all walks of life. Some visitors became regulars, returning as much for the conversations as for the coffee, and a few even sketched portraits of me while sitting in the café; unexpected memories I still treasure today. Looking back, the experience taught me that meaningful human connections often emerge in the most ordinary places. What began with coffee became a story of community, curiosity, and the relationships that make everyday moments unforgettable.
